    1. Major Flagship Infrastructure
    • Itare Dam Water Supply Project (Vision 2030):
      • Status: The project is on the resumption roadmap. Following the resolution of ICC disputes and the signing of a settlement agreement, implementation is being tracked for the restart of works.
      • Scope: A 57m high dam with a 100,000m³/day treatment plant and 110km of bulk conveyance pipeline.
      • Impact: Designed to serve 800,000 people in Nakuru City, Molo, Njoro, Kuresoi, and Rongai areas.
    • Lake Nakuru Biodiversity Conservation Project:
      • Status: Contracts for Lot 1 (Njoro WWTP) and Lot 2 (Water Supply improvement) have been awarded, and contractors are currently mobilizing. Lot 3 (Sewer system and rehabilitation) is currently under procurement.
      • Scope: Funded by KfW and GoK (Ksh 5 Billion), it includes a new 60,000m³/day pretreatment works, 12 new boreholes, and the rehabilitation of 65km of sewer networks.
    • Naivasha Industrial Park (NIP) Water Supply Project:
      • Status: The short-term intervention is 100% complete and was handed over to the Naivasha Water and Sanitation Company (NAIVAWASSCO) after the Defect Notification Period.
      • Scope: Developed a water source capable of supplying 10,000m³/day to the Special Economic Zone.
    • Kinamba-Kayole Water Project:
      • Status: A National Urban Program Phase 1 project currently in the documentation repackaging phase for tendering.
      • Impact: A Ksh 700 Million project designed to benefit 52,300 people in the outskirts of Naivasha through new storage tanks and reticulation.

    • National Urban Phase II: Proposed projects include the Sogonin-Menengai Water Supply, Gilgil-Kikopey Water Supply, and Gilgil-Kikopey Sewerage.
    • Proposed Sewerage Works: Urban systems are planned for Naivasha Town (Ksh 3B), Molo (Ksh 1B), and Keringet-Olenguruone (Ksh 2.5B).
    • Priority PPP Dams: Several dams are recommended for Public-Private Partnerships, including Upper Solai (Ksh 5B), Kaprop Dam (Ksh 6B), and the Malewa Multi-Purpose Dam.
